Deary, Kendrick place 11 on All-Conference team

Deary and Kendrick combined to place eleven players on the All-White Star League football team, released over the weekend, for the 2017 season.

Deary senior Jalen Kirk was selected as the league's MVP, coming in ahead of Kendrick's Jerry Gorbett and Deary teammate Tanner Anderson.

Deary led the way with seven selections to the 20-player list. Kendrick followed with four. Lakeside, Mullan, and Lewis County each had two while Clark Fork, Kootenai, and Timberline-Weippe each had one. Fourteen of the 20 honorees were seniors.

Deary: Jalen Kirk, Sr. (MVP); Tanner Anderson, Sr.; Parker Johnston, Sr.; Jayce Weinmann, Sr.; Colten Heath, Sr.; Eli Frazier, Jr.; James Loyd, Sr.

Kendrick: Jerry Gorbett, Sr.; Brian Lawrence, Sr.; Brian Carter, Sr.; Hayden Deeds, Sr.

Lewis County: Jimmy Barnett, Jr,; Brendan Nelson, Soph.

Lakeside: Bryar Sanches, Sr.; Devin Whaley-Arroyo, Soph.

Mullan: Gryphon Todd, Sr.; Skye Galloway, Soph.

Clark Fork: Wade Stevens, Sr.

Kootenai: Gage Maitland, Jr.

Timberline-Weippe: Colton Brouwers, Sr.
